Biblical principles for budgeting, giving and saving — practical wisdom for families and young professionals.
The Bible speaks often about money — not because God needs it, but because our hearts follow our treasure (Matthew 6:21).
Everything belongs to God
“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 24:1). We are stewards, not owners. That perspective changes how we spend.
Plan ahead
“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness” (Proverbs 21:5). A simple monthly budget — income, giving, essentials, savings — brings peace.
Give first
Generosity breaks the grip of materialism. Give cheerfully, not under pressure (2 Corinthians 9:7).
Avoid unnecessary debt
“The borrower is servant to the lender” (Proverbs 22:7). Where debt exists, make a plan to pay it down steadily.
Faithfulness in little things prepares us for greater responsibility in God’s kingdom.
